This Privacy Policy explains how Intellygent Limited ("Intellygent AI", "we", "us") processes personal data when you visit https://intellygent.ai, when you contact us through the channels described below, and when you interact with basic site features. Where you agree on our cookie banner, we enable optional analytics on this domain as described in sections 4 to 7 below.
We process personal data in line with the laws that apply to our activities. That includes, where relevant, frameworks such as the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, and statutes in other regions (for example US state privacy laws) depending on your situation. Intellygent Limited is the controller named above and is incorporated in the United Kingdom.
One policy for all visitors: Like many international companies, we publish a single Privacy Policy rather than a separate document per country. When you load pages on intellygent.ai, our hosting and infrastructure providers, and software that supports the operation of the site, may process technical information such as: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type and version, operating system, referral URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This data is used to deliver the site, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and understand aggregate demand.

If you choose Essential only, optional analytics is not loaded on this site.
Regardless of that choice, we count page views with a cookieless analytics service (Umami). Some pages show an illustrative Shifu preview: a scripted chat example that runs in your browser. It is labelled as a preview and is not a live product. Free-text you type there is not sent to our servers and is not processed at shifu.intellygent.ai. When a live Shifu product or embed is offered, that service will have its own notice.
4.5 What we do not offer on this marketing site
This public website does not include:

Optional analytics runs only after you opt in via the cookie banner. Our marketing site codebase does not include third‑party advertising or retargeting pixels. We configure any analytics service we use so that it fits this policy and applicable law, including US state privacy laws where those may apply (see section 11).
6. Purposes and legal bases
Laws such as the UK GDPR and EU GDPR require a documented "legal basis" for certain processing. Where those laws apply, we rely on the following (other regions may use similar concepts):

We do not sell your personal data on this marketing site. We do not embed third‑party advertising or retargeting pixels in our site code on intellygent.ai as described here. Optional analytics is addressed in sections 4 to 5 and in section 11.

8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in the United Kingdom and in other countries where our providers operate (for example email delivery or website hosting). Our cookieless page-view counting provider, Umami, may process data in the European Union, the United States and other countries. Umami Software, Inc. is a US company, and its transfers are covered by the standard contractual clauses and UK addendum in its data processing agreement with us. If you opt in to Google Analytics, Google may also process data in the United States and other countries. Where a transfer requires a safeguard under applicable law, we rely on mechanisms the provider makes available (for example standard contractual clauses or other recognised tools), as described in their documentation and in our arrangements with them.
9. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described.
- Contact enquiries: typically up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for legal, security, or contractual reasons.
- Server logs: in line with our hosting configuration and security needs (often a shorter rolling period).
- Analytics data: retained according to our analytics configuration and the provider's terms (often on the order of months for event data unless shortened).
Retention may be extended where we must establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
10. Security

We also review administrative and optional features offered by analytics providers so processing stays consistent with our stated purposes. Some controls may sit in the provider's product, not only in our site code.
